Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Stam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones - Can't be touched. Stam has chosen Tony Iommi - Grace as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Leonard Stam was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fox moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fox moves in looking to clinch but Stam pushes him off.
Fox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fox slaps away a takedown attempt from Stam, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fox is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fox throws a looping overhand right but Stam ducks down to avoid it.
Fox thows a body shot but no joy.
Stam misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Paddy Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonard Stam.

Fox tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stam manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fox throws a combination. Stam tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Leonard Stam has been cut.
Stam gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fox counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Stam looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stam misses with a few strikes there.

Fox clinches with his opponent.
Fox working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Fox using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stam has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Stam wants a takedown.
Stam jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fox walks away with a smile on his face. Stam gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Stam throws a lazy uppercut
and Fox counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fox scores with the left hand. Stam knows he should have avoided that one.
Fox misses with the combination.
Fox slips a jab and a cross from Stam.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stam looks for a takedown but Fox sprawls well.
Fox explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Paddy Fox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fox wants to clinch up but Stam keeps it at a distance.
Stam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fox throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stam.

and Fox counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stam on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Stam's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fox connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stam scrambles back to his feet.
Fox wants to clinch up but Stam keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fox looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Leonard Stam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stam avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stam on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Stam swats away the attempt to clinch by Fox.
Stam misses with a two punch combination.
Good shot there by Stam.
Stam misses with a takedown attempt - Fox sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No joy there for Fox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stam misses with a wild combination.

Stam throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fox tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stam is in Fox's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fox is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Fox manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Fox avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stam tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fox misses with the combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stam.
Fox lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stam's sensitive parts.
Fox uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stam has time to react.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fox cracks Stam with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Stam gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fox.
Fox fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fox is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Stam fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paddy Fox dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Stam misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Paddy Fox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fox is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Fox shuts the power down on Stam. Lights out, game over! Fox is your winner.
