Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zane Peltier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peltier is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rockstar-Chamillionaire. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Johnson lands a jab to the nose.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson connects with a looping right hand.
Johnson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Peltier misses with an attempted mid kick.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Peltier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Peltier tries to work over Johnson's front leg with a kick but Johnson checks it.
Peltier looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Johnson lands with a nice body punch.
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Good leg kick by Peltier there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Peltier throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peltier off to one side.

Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
John Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A punch combination from Johnson misses.
Johnson tries to clinch but Peltier is having none of it.
Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Peltier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Peltier shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Peltier in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Johnson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Peltier!
