Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zilla Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Martin .
Martin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kong sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice jab there from Martin .
Kong with a poor takedown
and Kong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A jab from Kong does it's job there.
Kong throws a big shot that misses.
Martin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kong.
Kong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Kong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martin 's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kong won't allow Martin to sweep him here.
Kong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Martin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kong is fighting to break Martin 's control of his arms but Martin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Martin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kong on the ground.

Kong throws and elbow that misses. Martin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kong's guard. Nice move by Martin !

Kong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kong throws a strike aimed at the side of Martin 's head but Martin avoids it well.
Kong lands a nice forearm strike.

Kong goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Martin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kong but great work by Martin .
Kong wants to control but Martin postures up.
Kong tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Martin throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kong works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Martin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kong's head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Martin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kong to score with a decent uppercut.

so Kong counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Martin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kong's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martin postures up in Kong's guard and throws a big left but Kong blocks it.

Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martin wants to pass the guard but Kong is keeping the position.
Kong looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Zilla Kong has got the better of the ground game so far.

Zilla Kong has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Zilla Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kong connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Martin momentarily.
Kong lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Kong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Martin moves away.
Martin throws an overhand right that lands on Kong's shoulder, as Kong tries to avoid the shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Martin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kong on the side of the head.

Zilla Kong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Kong counters with a head kick. That will keep Martin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Martin is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Kong takes a swing at Martin 's ribcage but misses.
Martin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kong is fending him off so far but Martin persists. Nope, Kong circles away and we're back to standing.

Kong throws a right hand that Martin ducks under and follows up with a left that Martin also avoids with ease.
A big right from Kong misses.
Martin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kong fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Horrible takedown by Kong or perhaps it was just good defense by Martin which made him look bad.
Martin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kong.

Kong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Martin quickly recovers to half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kong lands a nice short elbow.

Kong slips a nice elbow through Martin 's hands, connecting with Martin 's forehead.

Zilla Kong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
