The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anufriev drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Anufriev trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Anufriev lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Anufriev advances position into side control!
Lucas is looking for a sweep.
Lucas is trying to control Anufriev's posture but Anufriev avoids it.
Lucas tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anufriev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lucas is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lucas takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Lucas tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Anufriev has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Anufriev fails in his attempt to clinch.
Anufriev stuffs the takedown attempt from Lucas. Lucas gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lucas walks into a left hand.
Anufriev has a takedown stuffed.
Lucas takes one to the chin there.

Anufriev closes the distance and clinches.
Anufriev has had enough of the clinch but Lucas keeps him there for the moment.
Anufriev tries to circle away but Lucas has him pinned against the cage.
Anufriev wants to get back to striking at distance but Lucas won't allow it.
Lucas tries to pull guard but Anufriev holds him up against the cage and eventually Lucas drops back down to his feet.
Lucas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anufriev avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Maksim Anufriev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Lucas.
Anufriev is trying to break the clinch but Lucas has him pressed against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Anufriev drops Lucas with a beautiful combination! Lucas stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Anufriev is looking for the KO!

Anufriev is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Lucas hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
