Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ko Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Duran Duran - Wild boys. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Ko Master has been cut.
Filipovic throws a leg kick which misses Master's front leg but catches the back leg as Master tries to avoid it.
Master misses the shot to the body.

Filipovic clinches up with Master and pushes him back against the cage.
Filipovic could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Master's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Filipovic lands a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Master gets tackled into the cage by Filipovic. Filipovic maintains the clinch.
Filipovic wants to break free but Master has control.
Master fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Filipovic drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Master misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Filipovic.
Filipovic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Master's efforts to push away.

Master ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Master no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Filipovic wants to stand but Master is controlling his posture from full guard.
Master lands a decent shot there.
Filipovic tries to stand but Master is controlling from the bottom.

Filipovic gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Filipovic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Filipovic has closed the distance and engaged Master in a clinch.

Master has Filipovic pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Filipovic manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Master misses with a hook to the ribs.
Filipovic on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Master looks gassed!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Filipovic cracks Master with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That has opened up Ko Master's cut even more.
Filipovic cracks a nice hook into Master's ribs.

Filipovic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Filipovic throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Filipovic is defended easily by Master.
Master leaves Filipovic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Filipovic closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Filipovic lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Filipovic counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Filipovic feints a jab promting Master to slip. Filipovic then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Master slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Master pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A shot to the liver by Filipovic. Beautiful body shot.
Master is breathing heavily.
Master throws a series of punches but Filipovic moves out of range.

A nice combination there by Filipovic.

The cut above Ko Master's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Filipovic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Filipovic throws a nice outside leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Filipovic.
Filipovic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Master's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Filipovic moves into range and clinches up with Master.

Filipovic breaks the clinch.
Master stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Filipovic.
Filipovic is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Ko Master's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Filipovic lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Master backs up against the cage.

Master on the wrong end of a nice jab.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ko Master's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
