The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoney lands a jab to the nose.
Stoney tries to close the distance and clinch up but Machida swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jammy Stoney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stoney connects with a crisp jab.
Stoney just misses with a punch to the body.
Stoney misses with a looping left.
Stoney works Machida's body with a nice hook.
A left lands for Stoney.
Stoney pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stoney tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machida paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stoney swings for the body but Machida moves out of range.

Stoney lands a big uppercut and Machida crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Machida looks OK. Stoney waves Machida back to his feet!

Stoney blocks a head kick by Machida.
Machida is still on wobbly legs! Can Stoney finish him?
Stoney drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Machida right on the button. Machida goes down! Stoney follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Stoney gets the win via TKO!
