Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron McSlugg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McSlugg's choice of entrance music: mcslugg custom anthem..... Aaron McSlugg will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hulk Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McSlugg clinches.
Hogan is pressed up against the cage. McSlugg has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hogan down to the mat. Hogan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hogan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
Hogan misses with a takedown attempt - McSlugg sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

McSlugg stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McSlugg wants it to stay on the feet.

Hogan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McSlugg, who protects the arm well.
Hogan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Hogan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, McSlugg has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hogan but great work by McSlugg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hogan manages to get to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McSlugg accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hogan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hogan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McSlugg utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That was a close round but I would say that Hulk Hogan will probably get the nod.

A right-left combo lands from McSlugg.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hogan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McSlugg tries to avoid it but Hogan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McSlugg to the ground. McSlugg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hogan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

McSlugg drops back looking for a leg! Hogan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hogan manages to kick McSlugg off! McSlugg jumps back into Hogan's guard.

Hogan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McSlugg avoids it really well and circles away.
Hogan shoots in looking for a takedown. McSlugg tries to sprawl out of it but Hogan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McSlugg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hogan dives in and grabs McSlugg's left leg, looking for a takedown. McSlugg pushes down on Hogan's head and hops out.
