The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rick Haan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jong's jab looks to have found its range, popping Haan under the eye.

It looks like Rick Haan has been cut.
Haan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jong jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jong scores with a body shot.

Jong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Haan.
Haan fakes the leg kick and cracks Jong in the body.
Haan throws a wild body kick that Jong sees coming a mile off.
Haan tries to clinch but Jong is having none of it.

Jong scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jong lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Haan backs up against the cage.
Jong lands with an uppercut that bounces Haan off the cage and back into rage.

That has opened up Rick Haan's cut even more.
Haan tries to clinch but Jong is having none of it.
Jong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Jong keeps the fight on the outside.
Jong misses with the combination.
Haan throws the kick towards the body but Jong avoids it.
Haan lands a head kick!
Jong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Haan.
Haan tries to close the distance and clinch but Jong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Haan looks to land a body kick but Jong moved away.
Jong moves into range and connects with a jab.
Haan throws a leg kick but Jong sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Nice shot lands for Jong.
Jong lands a jab to Haan's midsection.

Haan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Haan tries to close the distance and clinch but Jong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jong changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jong cracks Haan with an open hand slap.
A cross from Jong lands.

The cut above Rick Haan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jong avoids the head kick by Haan.
Haan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Haan connects with a high kick.
Haan throws a front kick that sends Jong stumbling back into the cage.
Jab by Jong.
Haan closes the distance but Jong moves to the side
and Jong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jong lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Rick Haan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Haan wants to clinch.
Jong connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Haan's hands.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Nice combo by Jong! Oh, that's hurt him - Haan falls to the canvas and Jong follows him into side control.

Haan is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rick Haan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
