PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piet Snot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snot comes into the arena with Lil Wayne - Drop the World blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Lesnar's choice of entrance music: Enae Volare Mezzo. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piet Snot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Fedor Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lesnar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Snot throws a half hearted mid kick.
Snot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Snot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lesnar moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Snot tries to land a leg kick but Lesnar saw it coming and moves away.
Lesnar shoots in but no luck this time.

Lesnar throws a good cross that connects.
Lesnar just misses with a punch to the body.
Lesnar looks to throw the jab but Snot is out of range.
Snot throws a wild body kick that Lesnar sees coming a mile off.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snot sprawls well. Snot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet.

Lesnar looks gassed!

Snot closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lesnar to the mat! Lesnar manages to get full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Snot wants to control from the top but Lesnar keeps moving.
Snot pushes down on Lesnar's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Snot passes to side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snot is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, Snot circles away and we're back to standing.

Lesnar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Snot is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lesnar defends it well.

Snot throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Snot looks to score with a jab to the body but Lesnar is just out of range.

Snot feints and then cracks Lesnar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lesnar down.
Snot misses with a straight left.
Lesnar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Snot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A big strike lands for Lesnar! That's really hurt Snot and he's turned his back - Lesnar keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lesnar jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
