Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Math Prush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Math Prush has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Lorenzo Montana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Math Prush!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana slips under a jab.

Montana gets a double leg takedown into Prush's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Prush is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Prush looking for a sweep. Not yet Prush, not yet.

Montana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prush swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Prush not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Prush holds on and takes a little breather.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Prush closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Prush lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prush is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Prush is looking to take a break and control but Montana is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A close round but Math Prush will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Prush tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Prush has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Prush gets to mount! Montana was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Math Prush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Montana goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Montana tries to land a front kick but Prush steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Montana closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Montana does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Montana blocks a head kick by Prush.
Lorenzo Montana is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Montana is refusing to be controlled, as Prush sits in half guard.

Prush with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Prush is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Montana to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Montana shrugs it off.
Math Prush is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Montana is desperately trying to improve his position but Prush has a good base and remains in mount.
Prush pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
