Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). French comes to the cage accompanied by MGM Intro. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French wants to clinch.
Jenkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by French.
Jenkins throws a solid leg kick but French takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jenkins.
French looks to land a combination but Jenkins avoids it well.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jenkins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jenkins trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Jenkins working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Jenkins jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… French is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by French and Jenkins has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

French is looking to regain half guard here but Jenkins keeps moving and retains side control.

French throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Steve French seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
French goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

French missing with a left hand there. Jenkins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
French misses with a wild body shot.
French tries to clinch but Jenkins moves out of range.
French tests Jenkins's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jenkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as French throws out the jab.

French ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jenkins moves away.

French lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jenkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around French's waist but French gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jenkins off to one side.
French is looking to clinch but Jenkins is avoiding it.

Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jenkins tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Jenkins wants to work for an arm triangle but French is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jenkins wants to pass to mount but French is defending the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
French wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
French is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jenkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jenkins's back!
French has good solid back control here.

Jenkins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
French stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Jenkins is rocked!

French lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Jenkins goes down and covers up as French starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
