PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Black might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to yes. King has chosen Closing Time as his entrance music. Nikolai King told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A looping hook to the body misses from King. Black does a little dance to reset his feet.
Black connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.
Black takes a body punch but keeps moving.
King missing with a left hand there. Black was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
King goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Black tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
King throws a lazy right hand but Black sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.
Black cracks King with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Black counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Black throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

King is trying to force a seperation but Black has the dominant position.
Black is trying to drag King to the mat but King just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
