Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petteri Vuorimaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slobodan Gajic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuorimaa tries to clinch up but Gajic circles away and keeps his distance.

Gajic pushes Vuorimaa off looking to stand but Vuorimaa dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Good leg kick by Gajic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gajic catches Vuorimaa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A jab lands there for Gajic.
Vuorimaa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gajic tries to avoid it but Vuorimaa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gajic to the ground. Gajic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vuorimaa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gajic.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Vuorimaa counters with a single leg into guard. Gajic didn't expect that.
Vuorimaa throws and elbow that misses. Gajic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vuorimaa's guard. Nice move by Gajic!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Vuorimaa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gajic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Vuorimaa here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Vuorimaa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vuorimaa has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gajic's face.
Petteri Vuorimaa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gajic is breathing heavily.

Vuorimaa is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gajic has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gajic!
Gajic wants to control from the top but Vuorimaa keeps moving.

Vuorimaa is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Gajic with him. Gajic is trying to defend but Vuorimaa has an arm under the chin now! Gajic grimaces and is forced to tap out!
