Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Raptor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennet kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is SmashinSomethin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raptor is looking to clinch.
Raptor wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bennet slaps away a takedown attempt from Raptor, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bennet fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Raptor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice defenses there by Raptor.
Bennet circles away from the clinch attempt.
Raptor wants to clinch
and Bennet counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Raptor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Bennet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bennet moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Bennet throws the left hand but Raptor avoids the punch easily.

Danny Raptor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raptor shoots in looking for a takedown but Bennet manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Raptor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A decent looking cross lands there for Raptor.
A telegraphed right hand from Bennet misses the target.

Raptor throws a solid leg kick but Bennet takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Raptor.

and Bennet counters with a lovely shot to the body.
No luck for Raptor with that takedown attempt.
Charles Bennet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Raptor.
Raptor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Raptor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Raptor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bennet counters with a right hand to the body.
Bennet swings for the body but Raptor moves out of range.
Raptor doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bennet counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The crowd cheers as Raptor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bennet doesn't seem phased though.
Bennet takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bennet steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Raptor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bennet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bennet throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bennet avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bennet on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Raptor. Raptor obviously looking to wear him down.
Bennet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raptor moves away.
Raptor tries to bum rush Bennet with a series of wild strikes but Bennet uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Raptor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Raptor is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Raptor rushes Bennet and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Raptor misses with a punch to the body.
Bennet tries to circle away but Raptor has him pinned against the cage.
Bennet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A good leg kick by Raptor.
Raptor lands with an uppercut that bounces Bennet off the cage and back into rage.
Raptor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bennet uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Raptor.
Raptor throws a body punch but Bennet moves out of range.
Raptor missing with a left hand there. Bennet was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Bennet uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Raptor.

and Bennet counters with a nice uppercut.
Raptor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bennet.
Raptor throws a leg kick but Bennet sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Raptor digs a good body shot into Bennet's ribs.
Raptor forces Bennet back against the cage and clinches.
Raptor working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Bennet has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Raptor is working Bennet over against the cage.
Bennet tries to break the clinch but Raptor is controlling the position.
Raptor misses with a hook from the clinch.
Raptor has Bennet pressed against the cage, preventing Bennet from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Raptor keeps control of Bennet as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Raptor throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Raptor lands a hook that snaps the head of Bennet backwards.

Oh Bennet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Raptor swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bennet is trying to break free.

Raptor creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Bennet's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Bennet drops to his knees and Raptor pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
