The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangan scores with a jab to the body.
Mangan looks to land a combination but Teixeira avoids it well.

It looks like Everon Teixeira has been cut.

Mangan steps into range and cracks Teixeira with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Teixeira flops backwards and Mangan dives into his guard looking to finish!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mangan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Oh Teixeira is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Matthew Mangan wasn't active enough on the ground.
BOOM! Mangan lands a beautiful left hook that drops Teixeira. Teixeira tries to recover but Mangan is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Teixeira lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
