PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Vazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Street (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Street has chosen K.O as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Street misses with a combination

and Vazquez counters by moving into the clinch.
Vazquez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Street pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vazquez throws a nice inside leg kick.

Vazquez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vazquez lands with an overhand left.
Street throws an off balance right hand

and Vazquez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Street's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vazquez trying to control the position from guard on top but Street is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vazquez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Street swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Hector Vazquez just wasn't active enough.
Street lands a lovely overhand right.
Street keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jackson Street seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Street jabs Vazquez to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Street displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vazquez.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Vazquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vazquez is breathing heavily.
Street throws a combination. Vazquez tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Hector Vazquez has been cut.
Jackson Street is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Street cracks Vazquez with an open hand slap.
Street's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vazquez under the eye.

Street lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vazquez at a distance.
Street ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Vazquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vazquez dodges the punch combination from Street.

Street lands a left and a right that send Vazquez crashing to the mat, dazed. Street thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Vazquez is rocked!
Street lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vazquez circles away quickly and effectively.
Oh Vazquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Street flashes Vazquez a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Vazquez's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Vazquez crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Street punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
