Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Rellik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Rellik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Super Man!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rellik clinches up with Man and pushes him back against the ropes.

Rellik breaks from the clinch.
Man gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Man moves into range and clinches up with Rellik.

Rellik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Man fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rellik pushes Man up against the ropes in a clinch.
Rellik lands a hook to the side of the head.

Rellik manages to break the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rellik prevents Man from breaking the clinch.
Rellik is pushing Man up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rellik.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Man is trying to break free.
Rellik lands with a left to the head.
Man missing with knees to the body.

Rellik breaks the clinch.
Man shoots in but no luck this time.

Man clinches up with Rellik and pushes him back against the ropes.
Rellik is pushing Man up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Rellik seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Rellik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Man gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Man has his foot on Rellik's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rellik works his way back into a safe position though.
Rellik wants to pass the guard but Man is keeping the position.
Rellik engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Man is looking for a triangle but Rellik pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rellik postures up.

Rellik stays in close to Man's body and controls the position.
Rellik's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sean Rellik wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Rellik has taken the fight to the clinch.
Man tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rellik just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Sean Rellik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Man.

Rellik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rellik will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Man closes the distance and clinches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rellik gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Rellik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rellik gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Man creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Rellik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Man clinches.

Rellik is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Man can't fight it off and eventually Rellik manages to take the fight to the floor. Man looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rellik controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rellik scoring with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Rellik dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Rellik pushes Man up against the ropes in a clinch.
Rellik with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rellik.


It looks like Super Man has been cut.
Rellik lands with a short shot to the head.


Man is rocked!
Rellik is struggling to control the position.
Man is still on wobbly legs! Can Rellik finish him?
Rellik pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Man! Rellik unloads with more strikes and Man sinks to his knees! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Rellik!
