The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El misses with a straight right.
El blocks a head kick by Boa.
El throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boa fails with an attempt to clinch.

El changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
El prevents Boa from escaping the position.
El in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
El lands a decent elbow from side control.

El lands a strong strike to the head of Boa. That's dazed him! El looking to finish here. Boa is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - El lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
