The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Salazar needs to keep his hands up - Guevara had a free shot at his head there.
Salazar tries for a takedown but Guevara sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Salazar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guevara to the mat! Guevara manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Salazar wants to pass the guard but Guevara is keeping the position.

Guevara is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Salazar lands a big elbow.

The referee warns Guevara that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
