Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ginokai Kai Gi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ginokai Kai Gi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz wants to clinch up but Kai Gi keeps it at a distance.
Diaz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kai Gi pinned against the cage. Kai Gi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kai Gi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diaz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kai Gi thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Diaz if he has to take too many more of those.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Kai Gi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Diaz with a poor takedown
and Kai Gi counters with a crisp one two that drops Diaz! Kai Gi thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Diaz to his feet! Diaz is in big trouble!
Diaz is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diaz gets tackled into the cage by Kai Gi. Kai Gi maintains the clinch.
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Kai Gi finish him?
Kai Gi pulls guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kai Gi looking for a guillotine here but Diaz defends easily.
Kai Gi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diaz defends it easily.
Diaz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kai Gi keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully.
Kai Gi is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Diaz has his hands clasped together but Kai Gi extends an breaks Diaz's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kai Gi.
