The crowd seem to be enjoying Russo's choice of entrance music: The Gambler. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haikas lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Russo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Haikas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Russo scores with a hook to the body. Haikas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Haikas lands with a hook. Russo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Russo throws a lazy uppercut
and Haikas counters with a left and a right that stings Russo.
Haikas feints with a jab and clips Russo right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Russo is sent crashing into the canvas and Haikas leaps in for the kill! Russo tries to get to his feet but Haikas is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Russo is in need of a savior and steps in!
