The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alahuippa misses with a few strikes there.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Van Dez has had enough of the clinch but Alahuippa keeps him there for the moment.
Van Dez is trying to break free.

Alahuippa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Van Dez throws a good cross that connects.

Van Dez gets tackled into the ropes by Alahuippa. Alahuippa maintains the clinch.

Alahuippa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A solid leg kick lands there for Van Dez.
Van Dez throws a head kick but Alahuippa moves out of range.
Van Dez connects with a right hand. Alahuippa shakes it off.

Van Dez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Alahuippa is rocked!
Van Dez feints and then cracks Alahuippa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alahuippa down.
Alahuippa is still on wobbly legs! Can Van Dez finish him?
Van Dez jabs Alahuippa to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Alahuippa looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Are you kidding me?! Van Dez ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Alahuippa clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
