The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Versmellon connects with a leg kick. Osetin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Osetin misses with a head kick.

Versmellon lands an elbow inside that Osetin shrugs off.

Osetin tries to work over Versmellon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Versmellon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Osetin's defenses.

That has opened up Batraz Osetin's cut even more.
Versmellon dips a shoulder and cracks Osetin with a mighty uppercut! Osetin falls back against the ropes and Versmellon unloads with a barrage of strikes! Osetin is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Versmellon screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
