The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maycock shoots in for a double leg but Telemundo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Telemundo slaps away a takedown attempt from Maycock, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Maycock clinches up with Telemundo and pushes him back against the cage.
Maycock tries to score a body lock takedown but Telemundo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Juanaldo Telemundo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Maycock.
Telemundo is trying to push Maycock away but Maycock has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Maycock drops down looking for an ankle pick but Telemundo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Maycock shoots in for a double leg but Telemundo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Telemundo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Phil Maycock has been cut.
Telemundo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Telemundo catches Maycock with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Telemundo lands with an uppercut that bounces Maycock off the cage and back into rage.
A combination from Telemundo does no damage.
Telemundo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Maycock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Telemundo circles away.
Telemundo slaps away a takedown attempt from Maycock, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Telemundo cracks Maycock with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Telemundo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Maycock to stand back up!

Telemundo sends Maycock crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Telemundo is motioning to the referee to let Maycock up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Maycock is rocked!
That has opened up Phil Maycock's cut even more.
Telemundo lands a big right hand that sends Maycock crashing to the mat! Telemundo stays standing though and waves Maycock back to his feet!
Maycock is still on wobbly legs! Can Telemundo finish him?
Maycock ducks under a wild hook from Telemundo.
Maycock seems to have recovered his senses.
Telemundo drops Maycock with a naaaaasty hook - Maycock is in real trouble here! Telemundo dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
