Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Verson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fan of Marrizle and CC - What I Want. On his way into the cage it seems that Crazy Dog has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Crazy Dog seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Verson!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Verson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dog avoids it really well and circles away.
Crazy Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Verson.

Verson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dog napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Verson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

We're going to have a standup here because Crazy Dog wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Dog throws a right hand that Verson ducks under and follows up with a left that Verson also avoids with ease.
Verson misses with a takedown attempt - Dog sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dog shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Verson eats them both and turns towards Dog to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dog displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Verson.

Verson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dog works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Verson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Dog got a little sloppy there for a moment and Verson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dog has managed to get both his arms back between Verson's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Crazy Dog will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Verson dives in and grabs Dog's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dog pushes down on Verson's head and hops out.
Dog throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Verson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Verson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dog avoids it really well and circles away.
Dog throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Verson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dog sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Verson somewhat.
Dog lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dog.

That was a close second round but I would say that Crazy Dog will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Crazy Dog overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
