The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shurlt shoots in but Progbeniak avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Progbeniak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shurlt pinned against the cage. Shurlt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Progbeniak is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shurlt asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Odayr Shurlt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Shurlt swings around for an armbar but Progbeniak sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Shurlt's guard.
