Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Craig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sindre Somme!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Somme ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Craig moves away.
Craig blocks a head kick by Somme.

Craig forces Somme back against the cage and clinches.
Somme working hard to break the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Somme has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Somme is looking to break free of the clinch but Craig has double underhooks.
Craig displaying some good clinch control by pressing Somme up against the cage.
Somme wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Somme breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Craig gets a clinch.

It looks like Simon Craig has been cut.
Craig drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Craig creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Somme wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Somme fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Craig tries for a takedown but Somme manages to get underhooks.
Craig drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Somme gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Craig shoots in for a double leg but Somme sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Somme clinches up with Craig and pushes him back against the cage.
Somme wants to get back to striking at distance but Craig won't allow it.
Somme is looking to break free of the clinch but Craig has double underhooks.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Somme lands with a nice combination. Craig backs away looking to recover.

Sindre Somme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Somme shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Craig sprawls well. Craig wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Somme gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Craig is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Somme fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Somme shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Craig manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Craig seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Somme stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Somme fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Craig sprawls well initially but Somme persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Somme throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Craig moves into full guard.
Craig looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sindre Somme dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Simon Craig's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Sloppy strikes from Somme. Those never looked like landing.
Somme rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Craig moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Somme wants to clinch up but Craig keeps it at a distance.
Somme lands with a hook. Craig tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Craig moves into the clinch.
Somme wants to get back to striking at distance but Craig won't allow it.
Somme lands a left hand.
Somme is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Somme wants to break free but Craig has control.

Somme pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Somme throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Craig's waist but Craig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Somme off to one side.
Somme doesn't manage to clinch there - Craig circles away.
Somme is breathing heavily.

Somme tries to clinch but Craig is having none of it.
Somme keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Somme misses with a few strikes there.
Somme showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Craig.
Somme feints a jab promting Craig to slip. Somme then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Craig slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Somme lands a body shot.
Somme is looking to clinch but Craig is avoiding it.

Craig decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Craig looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Craig passes to full mount!

Somme trying desperately to get to his feet.
Craig wants to control the pace but Somme is squirming around nicely.
Craig raining down shots from the mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Somme wants to get back to his feet.
Craig content just to control the position here.

Craig is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Somme can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

You get the feeling that Somme really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Somme really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Craig. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

You get the feeling that Somme really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That was a close second round but I would say that Simon Craig will probably get the nod.

Craig shoots in and drives through. Somme sprawls well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Craig.
Somme throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Somme pivots, looking for a leg kick but Craig is out of range and Somme settles back down.

Craig avoids the head kick by Somme.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Somme shoots for a takedown but Craig saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The referee calls for Craig to work.

Craig jumps guard and drags Somme to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Somme gets to his feet - Craig follows without any prompting.
Craig shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Somme but Somme pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Somme has closed the distance and engaged Craig in a clinch.
Craig tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Somme smiles and moves away.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Somme. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Craig blocks a head kick by Somme.
Somme is looking to clinch but Craig is avoiding it.

Craig shoots in and gets a takedown into Somme's guard.
Somme keeping moving, preventing Craig from controlling successfully.

Somme has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Craig off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Craig shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Craig stops Somme from getting back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Craig passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Somme!
Craig tries to control but Somme wriggling away.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Sindre Somme.
I think Somme has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
