Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bogdan Wasilcov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Silverio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silverio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Gonna Fly Now" By Bill Conti. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverio tries to clinch

and Wasilcov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silverio won't be happy with that.
Silverio tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Silverio seems a little lost for a moment, as Wasilcov dominates the positioning.

Silverio drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wasilcov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wasilcov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wasilcov!

Wasilcov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Silverio is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silverio is looking for a triangle but Wasilcov pushes his legs off easily.
Wasilcov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Silverio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wasilcov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silverio wants to get back to his feet but Wasilcov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Wasilcov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Silverio quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wasilcov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Silverio has a hand on Wasilcov's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Wasilcov takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Wasilcov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Silverio drops back looking for a leg! Wasilcov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wasilcov manages to kick Silverio off! Silverio jumps back into Wasilcov's guard.
Silverio would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Silverio drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wasilcov dives on top into guard.

That's time! Wasilcov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Wasilcov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Silverio quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wasilcov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
