Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rap Reiplinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calabi Yau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yau has chosen Death Walks Behind You as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Calabi Yau!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reiplinger moves into range and connects with a jab.
Yau tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reiplinger was well out of range. Poor timing from Yau.
Reiplinger closes the distance looking to clinch

and Yau counters with a shoot takedown. Reiplinger fights it but they end up in guard.
Yau advances position into side control!
Yau with the ground and pound but Reiplinger regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Yau missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Yau has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Yau lands a nice short elbow.

It looks like Rap Reiplinger has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reiplinger looking for subs from the bottom but Yau mounts him!

Reiplinger is looking to get to half guard.
Yau landing strikes from the mount and Reiplinger is in trouble!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reiplinger holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Yau tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Reiplinger tries to lock up and control but Yau gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Yau sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Yau scoring with strikes but Reiplinger is staying in there.

Jeez, Rap Reiplinger's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rap Reiplinger's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
