Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Munios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ditte Amaury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Munios looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jose Munios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ditte Amaury!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amaury throws a series of strikes that have Munios backpedaling.


It looks like Jose Munios has been cut.
Munios is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jose Munios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Amaury with a poor takedown

and Munios counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Munios.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Munios working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Amaury pulls Munios in close to his closed guard and prevents Munios from doing any damage or advancing position.
Munios trying to control the position from guard on top but Amaury is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Munios decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Amaury slaps away a takedown attempt from Munios, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Amaury stuffs the takedown attempt from Munios. Munios gets slowly back to his feet.
Amaury throws a head kick that misses

and Munios counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Amaury's guard now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Amaury is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Amaury is keen to just control but Munios is a slippery customer.

Munios kicks Amaury off and gets back to his feet.
Munios is breathing heavily.
Amaury misses with a two punch combination.
Amaury falls off balance throwing a combination

and Munios counters by moving into the clinch.
Amaury takes an elbow to the temple.
Munios has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Amaury avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Munios. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Munios tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Amaury smiles and moves away.
Amaury misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Munios showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Amaury.
Munios tries to clinch up.
Munios is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Amaury shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Munios counters by moving into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jose Munios will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jose Munios's cut.
That's time! Munios's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Amaury throws a combination that misses

and Munios holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Munios throws an elbow but misses.
Munios is stalling here.
A nice right hand lands inside from Munios.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Munios takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Munios using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Amaury has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Munios just leaning against Amaury, taking a breather.

Munios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Amaury lands a big shot that drops Munios! Can he finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Amaury has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Munios is proving hard to escape from.
Munios wants to sweep here but Amaury controlling him for the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Amaury showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Amaury stands and throws Munios's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Amaury decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A head kick by Amaury misses

and Munios counters with a single leg into guard. Amaury didn't expect that.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Amaury wants to get back to his feet but Munios is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Amaury is trying to keep Munios in close.
Amaury looking for a sweep. Not yet Amaury, not yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ditte Amaury wasn't active enough on the ground.
Munios is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Amaury pounces like a tiger and cracks Munios with a vicious hook! Munios is down but not out! Amaury follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ditte Amaury!
