The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maui swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Inoue.
Inoue looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Maui keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Inoue misses with a leg kick
and Maui counters with a two punch combo.
Maui lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Maui ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Inoue really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Inoue dives in and grabs Maui's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maui pushes down on Inoue's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Inoue. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maui changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Inoue tries to close the distance and clinch but Maui swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Maui uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Inoue has time to react.
Inoue is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Maui.

Daniel Inoue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Inoue takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Inoue swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Maui counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Inoue is breathing heavily.
Inoue takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Maui clobbers Inoue with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Maui lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Inoue is rocked!
Maui feints a jab and as Inoue dips his head, Maui unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Inoue right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Inoue falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Maui smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
