Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russian Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Vertudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vertudo avoids the body shot from Boy.
A combination from Boy does no damage.
Boy tries to clinch there but Vertudo circles away.
Russian Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vertudo fails with the takedown.

Boy drives through and clinches with Vertudo against the cage.
Boy scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Boy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vertudo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Boy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boy slaps away a takedown attempt from Vertudo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vertudo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boy tries to avoid it but Vertudo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boy to the ground. Boy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Russian Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabricio Vertudo.

Vertudo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vertudo wants to work for an arm triangle but Boy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vertudo on the ground.

Vertudo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vertudo.
Boy is looking to escape.

Boy has one foot on Vertudo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Boy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Boy duly obliges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vertudo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boy finds it's way round the side to connect with Vertudo's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Russian Boy dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Vertudo has his takedown stuffed
and Boy comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Vertudo stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Boy is on him like rabid pit bull! Vertudo slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
