PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Real Grappler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grappler fails with the takedown

and Zakrzewski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Grappler's guard now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Zakrzewski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grappler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zakrzewski has managed to get both his arms back between Grappler's legs - danger averted.

Grappler has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Zakrzewski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Grappler.

Zakrzewski is looking to take a break and control but Grappler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Grappler is cranking Zakrzewski's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Zakrzewski! He's tightened the choke and Zakrzewski is tapping out!
