Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erik Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Terra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caio Terra is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Terra lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Gray fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Terra avoids it really well and circles away.
Terra connects with a body shot that sends Gray's belly button to the back.
Terra shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gray eats them both and turns towards Terra to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Terra pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gray back to the cage. Terra follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Terra. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Gray shoots in looking for a takedown. Terra tries to sprawl out of it but Gray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Terra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gray drops his hands momentarily and Terra takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gray throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Terra tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gray is in Terra's guard.

Gray got a little sloppy there for a moment and Terra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gray has managed to get both his arms back between Terra's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gray has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Terra to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gray is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Terra pulls down on the head and he's put Gray to sleep! This one is all over!
