Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Larusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Issac James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Issac James will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Larusso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Issac James!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from James does no damage.
Larusso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Larusso off to one side.

James shoots in and bounces Larusso off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
James controls from within his opponent's guard.
James trying to stand up but can't free himself from Larusso's guard.
Larusso looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
James is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Larusso might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
James wants to control from the top but Larusso keeps moving.
James is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Larusso looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there.
James slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
James is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Larusso is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst James is controlling him.

James not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Let's hope that James has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Issac James just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Larusso shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Larusso showed some decent athleticism there.
James is looking to escape.

James manages to get to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Larusso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Larusso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Larusso gets caught flat footed, as James shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

James is stalling in the full guard.

Larusso changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. James looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
James wants to control but Larusso postures up.
James gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

James manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

I looks like James might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
James pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Larusso counters with a single leg into guard. James didn't expect that.

Larusso thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Larusso thows a big elbow that misses.

James manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
James looking to control but Larusso is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Larusso wants to hold on but James pushes him away.
Larusso is trying desperately to improve position.
Larusso on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Larusso tries to get out of the position.

It looks like Issac James has been cut.
Larusso cracks James with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
