Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asbjoern Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharius Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asbjoern Andersson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asbjoern Andersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zacharius Pendragon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pendragon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pendragon tries to advance to mount but can't.

Pendragon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Andersson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Andersson!
Pendragon has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Andersson has passed into side control.
Pendragon wants to control but Andersson postures up.
Pendragon is trying to get back to his feet.

Pendragon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pendragon throws a right hand that Andersson ducks under and follows up with a left that Andersson also avoids with ease.
Andersson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pendragon eats them both and turns towards Andersson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Andersson wants to clinch up but Pendragon keeps it at a distance.

Pendragon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pendragon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Andersson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Andersson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pendragon manages to get himself to full guard.

Pendragon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Pendragon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Andersson is proving hard to escape from.

Pendragon has gone for a leg lock! Andersson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pendragon's guard.

Andersson won't let Pendragon get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Pendragon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Pendragon rolls, trying to escape but Andersson keeps control of the position.
Pendragon is trying to stand back up.
Pendragon is really stuck here.
Andersson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pendragon's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pendragon is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Andersson is trying to stick to Pendragon's back but Pendragon is turning into Andersson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Andersson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pendragon.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pendragon wants to control from the top but Andersson keeps moving.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Andersson enables Pendragon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Andersson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Zacharius Pendragon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Andersson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pendragon shoots in looking for a takedown. Andersson tries to sprawl out of it but Pendragon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andersson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pendragon closes the distance and clinches.
Pendragon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pendragon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Andersson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Andersson obliges.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Andersson shoots in and drives through. Pendragon sprawls well.

Pendragon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pendragon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Pendragon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Andersson is trying to defend but Pendragon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Andersson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pendragon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Pendragon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Andersson has him pressed against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Zacharius Pendragon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Pendragon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
