Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dreiko Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Copeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Copeland has chosen think you know me as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Copeland shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lao manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Lao is looking for a triangle but Copeland pushes his legs off easily.
Copeland connects with a couple of short punches.

Lao has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Copeland can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Copeland drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lao looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lao looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lao!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Copeland is looking for a sweep.

Lao working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Copeland has his foot on Lao's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lao works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Copeland cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Copeland is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lao can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
