The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Andamski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Simpson stuffs the takedown.

Andamski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Simpson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Andamski counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Simpson!

Andamski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Simpson is looking to escape.
Simpson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Andamski.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Simpson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Andamski lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Andamski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Simpson finds it's way round the side to connect with Andamski's head.

and Simpson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Andamski thuds his right hand into Simpson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Simpson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Andamski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Simpson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Andriu Andamski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simpson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Andamski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
No luck for Andamski with that takedown attempt.

Simpson scores with a one two! Andamski had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Simpson! Andamski is out on his feet! Simpson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Andamski is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Andamski is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
