Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alouette Alouette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gandalf Mithrandir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alouette Alouette!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gandalf Mithrandir!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mithrandir avoids a kick to the body.
Alouette misses with a low kick as Mithrandir jumps back.
Alouette throws out a leg kick but Mithrandir moves out of range and Alouette only half commits.
Mithrandir shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alouette napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mithrandir is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Alouette looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mithrandir gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Alouette is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mithrandir lets go of the hold and Alouette can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gandalf Mithrandir!
