The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Convents moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Convents takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Convents fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ellis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ellis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ellis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jason Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheers as Ellis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Convents doesn't seem phased though.

A head kick lands from Convents that sends Ellis to the canvas. Ellis tries to scramble back to his feet but Convents brings him back down into side control.
Ellis is still in real trouble! Can Convents finish him?
A big shot lands for Convents! That's hurt Ellis! Will he recover? Convents fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
