Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kana Nobu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samuel Stone!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone gets caught napping as Nobu dives in and scores a takedown. Stone manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Stone pulls Nobu in close to prevent any damage.

Stone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nobu wants to stand but Stone is controlling his posture from full guard.
Nobu trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Nobu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stone on the ground.

Stone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Nobu wants to stand but Stone is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Stone shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nobu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Nobu wants to stand up but Stone is controlling him.
Nobu trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Stone passes Nobu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Stone perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Nobu is trying to stand.
Nobu is breathing heavily.

Stone looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nobu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stone.

Nobu tries to reverse the position but Stone maintains control.

Stone is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nobu to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nobu shrugs it off.

Stone is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Stone!
