Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Azh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Azh comes into the arena with Manu Militari - Voix De Fait blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Andre Azh has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andre Azh seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Azh showed some decent athleticism there.
Azh slows the pace down in half guard.
Welsh looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Azh is trying to control. Welsh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Welsh moves into full guard.
Welsh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Azh defends it easily.
Welsh has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Azh is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Welsh.

Azh tries to move to full mount but Welsh actually manages to regain half guard.
Welsh flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Welsh has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Azh escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Azh!
Welsh is looking for a sweep.
Azh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Welsh manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Azh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Welsh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Welsh's back!
Welsh rolls, trying to escape but Azh keeps control of the position.
Welsh breaks Azh's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Azh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Welsh passes Azh's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Azh is trying to stand up here but Welsh is controlling him well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Welsh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Azh doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Welsh.
Welsh in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Azh tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Welsh!
