Stoltfus is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Chase. Sanchez is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Gregory Sanchez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoltfus scores with a jab to the body.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.
Stoltfus connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Gregory Sanchez has been cut.
Stoltfus tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jab, jab by Stoltfus - just one landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stoltfus throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Sanchez tumbling to the canvas!

Sanchez is rocked!

Oh Sanchez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stoltfus drops back looking for a leg! Sanchez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanchez manages to kick Stoltfus off! Stoltfus jumps back into Sanchez's guard.
Sanchez seems to have got his legs back now.
Stoltfus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sanchez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stoltfus on the ground.
Stoltfus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Stoltfus is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Sanchez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stoltfus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stoltfus's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Stoltfus chips away with some ground and pound.
Stoltfus's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Stoltfus slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stoltfus has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sanchez defend it? Stoltfus steps over the head and cranks it - Sanchez is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stoltfus!
