The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jj fails to land the takedown.
Jj connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Oliver Oxenfrei has been cut.
Jj darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jj trying to control the action but Oxenfrei is working from the bottom.
Jj working the head and body with strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jj seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jj is trying to control. Oxenfrei wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jj wants to work for an arm triangle but Oxenfrei is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jj is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jj lands a nice short elbow.

Jj is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Jj has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Oxenfrei reaches up and pulls Jj towards him, trying to control the position. Jj manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Oxenfrei! Oxenfrei tries to roll over - now Jj is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Oxenfrei has to tap out! Great work there by Jj!
