Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Jaoude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danush Towraghondi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Towraghondi has chosen Coal Chamber - Amir of the Desert as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Towraghondi with that takedown attempt.
Towraghondi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jaoude tries to avoid it but Towraghondi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jaoude to the ground. Jaoude escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Jaoude as Towraghondi shoots in.
Gustavo Jaoude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danush Towraghondi.

Towraghondi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Towraghondi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jaoude has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jaoude tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Towraghondi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jaoude looks to move to half guard but instead Towraghondi has passed into mount! Damn!
Jaoude can't escape the position.
Jaoude is working hard here to advance position.
Towraghondi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jaoude can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jaoude knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Towraghondi on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
