Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shingo Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kigakiku Suppon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kigakiku Suppon looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kigakiku Suppon!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park lands with a kick to the ribs.
Suppon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Suppon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Park wants to clinch up but Suppon keeps it at a distance.
Suppon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like Suppon is going to stand back up.
Park trying to control but Suppon postures up.
Park tries to get to full guard but Suppon has control of the leg.
Park pushes Suppon off looking to stand but Suppon dives back in and keeps control.
Park trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Suppon stops Park from standing up.
Park will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Park connects with a body shot.
Park lands a head kick that stumbles Suppon and the fighters go to the mat.
Suppon is rocked!Park wants to stand but Suppon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Suppon is still in real trouble! Can Park finish him?

Park connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Park dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Suppon. That did some damage!
Park drops Suppon with a right and a left! Park comes rushing in but Suppon regains his composure and manages to keep Park in guard.
Park knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suppon on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Park scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Park has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Suppon is proving hard to escape from.

Park with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Suppon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Suppon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A chopping leg kick lands by Park.

Park moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Park throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Park dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Suppon. That did some damage!
Park fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Suppon.
Shingo Park seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Park lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Suppon backs up against the ropes.
A nice leg kick lands there from Park.
A solid body kick from Park.
Suppon looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Shingo Park has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kigakiku Suppon.
Park connects with a high kick.
Suppon's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Park cracks a nice hook into Suppon's ribs.
Suppon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Park.
Suppon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Park pinned against the cage. Park gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A slapping body kick lands there for Park.
Park doesn't manage to clinch there - Suppon circles away.
Park wants to clinch up but Suppon keeps it at a distance.
Shingo Park is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Park wants to slow Suppon down by chopping away at his legs.
Park does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Park tries to land a front kick but Suppon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Suppon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Park throws a combination. Suppon tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Park throws a right and a left that Suppon avoids nicely.
Suppon shoots in but Park avoids the takedown attempt easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Park! This one is all over!
