The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warefare avoids the head kick by Washington.
Warefare shoots for a double leg takedown but Washington sprawls well. He's pushed Warefare's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Washington stuffs the takedown.

Warefare shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Washington's guard.

Washington is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Washington bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Warefare's guard.

Washington tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Washington has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Washington has hold of Warefare's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Warefare seems comfortable defending it but Washington has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Warefare is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Warefare is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Washington couldn't care less - he's delighted!
