Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kim Haven of Mist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Os Mutantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haven of Mist kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Numero 1. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mutantes's choice of entrance music: El Justiciero. The key to victory for Kim Haven of Mist has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haven of Mist throws a nice looking combination but Mutantes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Haven of Mist fails to land with a series of punches.
Mutantes fails with a takedown attempt.
Haven of Mist misses with a wild combination.

Mutantes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Haven of Mist is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

It looks like Mutantes might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Mutantes has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Haven of Mist keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mutantes is landing with some decent strikes but Haven of Mist is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mutantes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Mutantes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
