Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bowman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dark Tranquillity - Misery's Crown. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Derek Donovan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donovan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bowman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bowman sends Donovan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bowman is motioning to the referee to let Donovan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Bowman cracks Donovan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Donovan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bowman finish him?

Bowman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bowman cracks a nice hook into Donovan's ribs.
Donovan walks into a stiff left hand from Bowman.
Donovan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bowman lands with a good body shot.

Bowman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Derek Donovan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bowman lands with an uppercut that bounces Donovan off the cage and back into rage.
Bowman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Donovan. That did some damage!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Derek Donovan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Donovan drops his hands momentarily and Bowman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
