Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silent Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacque St Martin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by St Martin.
St Martin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bob has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
St Martin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for St Martin.
St Martin leaves Bob with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
St Martin misses with the combination.
St Martin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
St Martin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bob has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bob closes this distance looking for a takedown but St Martin circles away.
St Martin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
St Martin connects with a high kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

St Martin darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage.

St Martin pulls guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bob prevents St Martin from getting back to his feet.
Bob passes St Martin's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
St Martin is trying to stand.

Bob seems to be working for a kimura but St Martin defends the submission attempt.

Bob wants to work for an arm triangle but St Martin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bob is looking for a kimura but St Martin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bob to get the leverage.
St Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bob. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
St Martin tries to kick Bob off but Bob keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
St Martin looks gassed!

Bob is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bob seems to be working for a kimura but St Martin defends the submission attempt.
Bob prevents St Martin from improving his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bob looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bob is sneakily working for an arm triangle but St Martin sees it coming and defends easily.
St Martin wants to get back to his feet.

Bob has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can St Martin defend it? Bob steps over the head and cranks it - St Martin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bob!
